Motswari Private Game Reserve is a family-owned and operated luxury safari lodge. Here, majestic creatures, including the Big Five, offer incredible viewing opportunities as they bask in their natural habitat. Located within the Timbavati and Umbabat Private Nature Reserve, stretches out over 18,000 hectares. It has been in existence for over four decades and its friendly staff members are intrinsic to its success. Great emphasis is placed on personal attention, ensuring that each guest instantly feels at home in this stunning setting.

A total of fifteen en-suite bungalows have been interspersed in nature and make up the Main Camp. Each unit has been decorated in a traditional manner that alludes to its surroundings and maintains a luxurious feel. Each bungalow sleeps two guests. A short game-drive away a private under-the-stars experience for two awaits. At this special location, overlooking the Xanatsi Dam, guests have the opportunity to be treated to a luxury tree-house sleep out, at an additional cost.

Also located on the property is a swimming pool, a shop that sells select curios from the region, a library, and an art gallery. Meals take place at a scenic location on the trails with one of the highly-trained guides or in the lounge and, depending on the season, evenings can be spent dining in the bush or inside the Boma, a traditional meeting-place.
