Matusadona National Park sits on Lake Kariba in northwest Zimbabwe. This is the largest man-made lake in Africa and was made with a dam on the Zambezi River for hydro electric power.

Rich in flora and fauna, this park is also home to an impressive amount of wildlife. There are several camps and lodges in the park and safaris can offer both land and water based activities. Boat rides and fishing are some of the activities that provide variation to the experience.

Some camps are located on the waters edge, where elephants are daily visitors past your room to play in the lake. This park is 330,000 acres large and borders the Matusadona Hills.
