Each cottage has its own fireplace and small kitchen, while the Boschendal restaurant and Deli are within walking distance. The manor house, garden, farm, estate and mountains are all there for you to enjoy.
With privileged access to the entire farm, guests staying in the cottages will be able to savor the best of farm living. Choose to join farm and history tours, explore the estate on foot following trails taking you through orchards and mountain fynbos, stopping off to pick pears, plums and citrus fruits depending on the season. There are mountain biking trails, walking trails, caves to explore, wine tasting and cellar tours, trout fishing and swimming in the dams – and plenty of opportunity to sit and read, relax and generally take in the goodness of life.
Dining options include eating at the Werf Restaurant, Farm Shop & Deli, Rhone Homestead or picnic area; having breakfast, lunch or dinner baskets brought to your cottage; or picking up some fresh farm produce at the deli and preparing it at the cottage.
