Lemuria Resort

Praslin, Seychelles

Silver price level

Mango Opinion

We love the hip feel and active personality of Lemuria. While quite large and built in blocks, the resort has 3 beaches, several restaurants and lots to do making it an active adult's playground. The golf course is fab. Praslin is perfect for accessing great snorkel and dive sites, Anse Lazio, Valle Du Mai and taking a day trip to La Digue. Seychelles shines here.

Set in a large private nature reserve, Lemuria Resort is an explosion of the senses. From the scented cool towels you receive on arrival, to the exhilaration you will feel at the 15th hole, you are sure to love it as we do! The rooms are secluded and all have private patios and beachfront access. There are three beaches to choose from, a tiered pool with swim up bar, and great poolside lunches. There are three additional restaurants set up around the resort, each with its own flavor.

On this beautiful island you will find the Vallee de Mai, a botanical forest with various nature trails in the park where you will see the distinctive and unusually shaped nuts found in this prehistoric vegetation. You can explore the many white sand beaches and private coves, including the Anse Lazio which has been said to be one of the prettiest in the Seychelles. Nearby are several world-class snorkeling and scuba opportunities, where you will see the colorful sea bed with thousands of bright fish. Nearby is the quiet island of La Digue which offers the perfect day trip.  You can choose from windsurfing, deep-sea fishing, catamaran trips and helicopter flights too.

Best of all, Praslin has two villages with incredibly friendly people and you can explore any area by foot. You are not limited to your hotels dining room, as there are several fun, local Creole and international style restaurants to discover.
