Mango Opinion

Chic tented accommodations, a friendly staff and prime location make this a great little camp. The Naboisho Conservancy is too far to go into the actual reserve to experience the river crossings during the migration so best paired with a camp inside.

Kicheche Valley Camp is a traditional luxury tented camp set in a wildlife rich private conservancy adjacent to the Masai Mara National Reserve. The secluded camp impinges so little on the natural inhabitants of this prolific reserve that your safari is enhanced by the animals that wander through the grounds.  This conservancy is known for a high populations of elephants, giraffe, cats, great birding and lots more wildlife.

The camp prides itself on offering a friendly and relaxing stay in an intimate and relaxed atmosphere. Each of the very spacious six tents are comfortably furnished with an en-suite bathroom with running water. The majority of the tents are in secluded positions overlooking the plains and nearby hills. The spacious main tent acts as the camp lounge with comfortable seating, a library, board games, cards and local crafts.

The camp chef produces delicious and healthy meals, and the menu features both African and international dishes.

Activities include day and night wildlife drives in custom 4x4 vehicles that ensure all guests have a perfect view. A different perspective is gained through escorted walks on the savannah. Safety is paramount when leaving camp on foot so all walks are escorted by an armed interpretive guide who will help guests enjoy the environment from the unique perspective. Local village and school visits are also available.
