The Quirimbas Archipelago is a shining jewel on the northeast coast of Mozambique. This chain of islands sits within the Quirimbas Marine National Park, which helps protect the coral reefs' exquisite array of marine life that draws snorkel and diving enthusiasts.

Still for the most part untouched by tourism developments, it is a pristine area of palm-laced sandy beaches caressed by the peacock blue waters of the Indian Ocean. Vamizi Island which has a wonderful little lodge and is the best area for snorkeling and diving excursions giving visitors a chance to see green sea turtles, seahorses and rare pipefish among many other underwater species. This is truly a barefoot luxury spot enjoying wonderful white sand beach.
