Tsarabanjina

Nosy Be, Madagascar

Tsarabanjina is a private island of complete tranquility, calm turquoise waters and stunning landscapes. An amazingly calm sea filled with a variety of fish and lobsters. It is a place renowned for its diving and snorkeling. You can stroll around, climb up the hills and lose your way in its luxuriant vegetation. At the end of a path, you will discover myriad birds as well as the tiniest chameleon in the world; it barely exceeds one centimeter in length when fully grown. Hidden on a small peninsula is the tomb of the Mitsio Island Sakalava kings and locals visit to bring offerings of money, rum and honey.

The bungalows at Tsarabanjina look out onto the sea and have a private terrace. They are built from local rosewood with a thatched roof. Every one is unique, with each one bearing the name of a native flower, tree or fish. There is a main bedroom equipped with fans, minibar, a bathroom with a shower and separate toilet, a private terrace with two deck chairs and a coffee table. They are spread along two beaches: North and South, and for each bungalow there are 2 loungers and an umbrella provided on the white sand beach. Activities include snorkeling, sea kayaking, waterskiing, sailing, walks around the island, tennis and massages.
