Allamanda is a charming hotel located on rue Richelieu, after the former Hotel de la Marine, just below the Place Joffre. The town center is 5 minutes by car or 10 minutes walking. Diégo-Suarez, the largest city of the North of Madagascar, has idyllic maritime sites: with its many bays, villages of traditional fishermen, rich underwater fauna and flora, and deserted beaches. Diégo Suarez is also an important volcanic mass (Mountain of Ambre) covered with tropical forests which profit from a fresh and wet climate, lakes of craters and an endemic fauna.
There are twelve premium and twelve standard guest rooms. Both are comfortable, with simple and stylish decor. The rooms are fully air conditioned to ensure the comfort of guests. There is a restaurant and bar called The Melville, which serves meals on the terrace overlooking the Diego Suarez Bay. They serve all three meals, and the cuisine is fresh and delicious, often featuring fresh seafood.
