Mango Opinion

We like the removed location of this camp and feel it offers great value for the Chobe region!  Sunset boat cruises are a highlight of any itinerary here!

Elephant Valley Lodge is comprised of twenty meru-style luxury safari tents set amid a beautiful contrast of manicured lawns and the wild bush along the edge of the Lesoma Valley. It is overlooking a very active watering hole that is teeming with wildlife. The tents' locations ensure that you are able to hear the fascinating sounds of the nocturnal African creatures as you drift away with vivid thoughts of the experiences of your day on safari. Each of the tents features twin beds with crisp linens, en-suite shower and toilet, mini safe and fan for comfort.

Guests at Elephant Valley are encouraged to join qualified guides on both daily activities offered, which include a river cruise along the Chobe River in one of their spacious skimmers and an afternoon safari from the comfort of a custom built game viewer through the Chobe National Park. The Lesoma Valley encompasses a natural migration path which offers fantastic game drive viewing opportunities of the thundering herds of wildebeest and zebras.

The Chobe region is home to the largest population of wild elephants in the world. Approximately 120,000 individuals roam the area, feeding on the lush vegetation and gathering at the watering holes. They pass from Zimbabwe through the Chobe and on into Namibia before returning. Elephant Valley Lodge lies along one of these routes to ensure wonderful chances to see elephants.
