The Couleur Cafe is a charming get away ideally located just a half kilometer away from the town center. The 15 charming brick bungalows are nestled around a pleasant garden and manicured lawn. The main building has a communal lounge and dining table, where guests can get to know one another and relax. Throughout the property, there is warm, welcoming design that blends harmoniously with the beautiful natural setting. The peaceful ambiance is the perfect contrast to the nearby hustle and bustle of the town. The rooms have high ceilings and are light and airy. Each has an en-suite bathroom complete with a shower. There is also a fire place, which keeps the bungalows warm and cozy in the colder winter months. The rooms are available with either double or twin beds. Each uniquely decorated room showcases its own selection of artisan crafts designed from Malagasy materials.
The meals offered are delicious and fresh. Bread is cooked over a wood fire, jams are all homemade, and salads and tropical fruits are always fresh. The chef cooks up a delicious cuisine that combines Fresh and Malagasy influences. Guests can enjoy intriguing combinations such as honey lychees, zebu, duck, tilapia, local vanilla, cinnamon, pink peppercorns, sweet potato, red rice and vegetables romazava. Antsirabe is a small spa town roughly half way between Antananarivo and Ranomafana. The cool, clear air of the high plateau makes Antsirabe an attractive stop on the route to the south. A visit to the thermal baths is also worth a visit.
