The Tides

This discreet and charming lodge consists of seven colorful and spacious beachfront cottages and two family houses, with en-suite facilities, and a host of exceptional features that bring together the accommodations and the beautiful beaches of Pangani, northern Tanzania.

The bar and restaurant overlook the Indian Ocean and are spacious and rustic. Friendly and efficient staff are at your service all day until you retire to your room at night. We pride ourselves on our high standard of cuisine and service. Our menus include the freshest seafood caught daily, mouthwatering bread is baked daily in our own bread oven, and delicious breakfast, lunch, and a three-course dinner are the everyday fare. Alternatives are available for those who are vegetarian or do not eat seafood.

The nearby marine parks teeming with fish, the centuries of seafaring Swahili culture, the deep-sea fishing paradise, and game park fabled for ocean bathing elephant and lion make this beach lodge the perfect haven for those in search of peaceful tranquility, special interest activities, and an Africa untouched by modern tourism.
