Tangala House is a large and unique family home located on the banks of the Zambezi River, 15 km upstream from the magnificent Victoria Falls, with incredible sunsets across the Zambezi and looking onto the Zambezi National Park.

Stylishly built and furnished with a recent feature in the UK House and Garden magazine, Tangala sleeps eight and makes an ideal stay for a family holiday, coming fully serviced and staffed by Tongabezi Lodge.

Tangala has four bedrooms, three of which are en-suite, a separate fourth bathroom, a spacious kitchen/dining room, childrens playroom, living room opening onto a thatch veranda, a snuggery with fireplace and a 12m swimming pool.

The house is ideal for families and is designed to keep insects out, with glass windows all around. Large herds of elephant often come down to drink on the opposite bank and hippos are regularly seen and heard.

You will have your own private guide and host, chef, waiter, housekeeper, pool and ground attendant, as well as private use of vehicles and boats. On this basis, all meals and bar, as well as river activities from the house and trips to the falls, shops, curio markets, museums and game park are all included in the rate. This gives your family total flexibility, enabling you to do what you want, when you want, all with your own host/guide, with complete privacy.
