Climb aboard a modern and very comfortable luxury sailing schooner, the latest addition to the Silhouette Cruises Company.
Accommodations for only 22 guests ensure a private and intimate journey. All rooms are air conditioned with en-suite bathroom facilities for maximum comfort. They are decorated with rich wood and fine linens. The ship also has a large salon with cocktail lounge and a beautiful dining salon. There is an abundance of teak sun decks as well as two outdoor showers. Modern amenities like DVD player, CD player, stereo, ice machine and laundry facilities are also on board.
The luxury of a sailing yacht gives guests the opportunity to reach the best dive sites in the Seychelles inner and outer islands. The yacht is equipped to host up to 16 divers with unlimited diving and flexible itineraries. The crew includes PADI instructors with years of Indian Ocean experience. The yacht is equipped with all the scuba equipment needed to explore the undersea world. Other activities on board include kayaking, wind surfing, water skiing, snorkeling, and fishing gear.
The crew of nine well trained and friendly staff will see to your every need on board. Serving fresh seafood meals and drinks or assisting you with your wetsuit and scuba gear, the crew is there to make this journey a memorable one.
You will have a short briefing by your captain before you board and depart. You sail for an anchorage at Round Island, just off Praslin Island late in the afternoon and for an evening welcome Barbecue.
On Day Two you have a morning of discovery, snorkeling or diving. In the afternoon, you sail to Bay Sainte Anne Jetty on Praslin Island. Praslin is the second largest inhabited island in Seychelles. Guests may disembark to visit the World Heritage site: Vallee De Mai Nature Reserve.
On Day Three you will sail towards La Digue Island. After lunch guests can take a visit to La Digue, the island of the Seychelles Paradise Flycatcher and of beaches reputed to be the most beautiful in the world. Guests can explore the island on ox-carts or on cycles. You will return to the ship for dinner.
The next day you will sail to Grande Soeur and Petite Soeur for a visit to this unique uninhabited tropical island and for excellent snorkeling and diving. This afternoon you will sail to Coco islands, one of Seychelles little jewels where you anchor for the night.
On Day Five you sail to Booby Island for diving and water sports in the morning. After lunch, you sail to Aride Island. Here guests can spend the afternoon exploring the nature reserve. You return to the ship for dinner.
Day Six starts with a sail to Curieuse Island for a visit through the mangrove forests and the giant tortoise conservation project. You will have a barbecue lunch on the beach. The afternoon will be dedicated to diving, water sports or relaxing.
After breakfast the next day, you sail back towards Mahe. On the way, you stop at Ile Seche for the last opportunity of snorkeling, diving and a farewell barbecue. During the evening you sail into Port Victoria for overnight.
