Nestling in the heart of a coffee plantation on the shores of Lake Duluti, near to Arusha, the gateway town of Tanzanias spectacular national parks, Serena Mountain Village - Arusha is the perfect place to relax before or after experiencing the adventure of a Serena Safari.

Serena Mountain Village will give guests a true experience of a coffee plantation and is designed as an African village. It is renowned for its collection of spectacular bougainvillea. Our rooms and suites are presented in the style of stone-built cottages, which are grouped in clusters around a flower-filled central village square. Spacious and elegantly presented in classic country-house style, they feature marble bathrooms, double French doors leading out into the gardens, leaded windows, a stylish work or vanity area, and large and comfortable beds.

All guest rooms have private balconies that boast magnificent views of the mighty snow-capped Kilimanjaro on one side and Lake Duluti and the rugged peaks of Mount Meru on the other.

The restaurant and bar are located in the Old Colonial Farmhouse which has all modern amenities. Activities include lake shore walks to see the Colobus monkeys, forest antelope and the abundant bush life. Excursions can be made to Mount Meru, mountain climbing of the famous Mount Kilimanjaro and trips to the markets of Arusha.

The dining room overlooks the lakes flower-fringed slopes and features an open-air bar area, a relaxed candlelit atmosphere and menu choices that include traditional safari favorites and internationally themed menus alike.
