Tarangire National Park, Tanzania

Nomad Tarangire Camp

This camp is brand new, lovely and great fun. Tarangire is such a scenically beautiful park and game concentrations increase each year from June to November making it a highly recommended stop.  — Mango's view

Nomad Tarangire is a small 8 bed camp in the southern area of Tarangire National Park. This park is famous for its Baobab trees which are scattered through the bush like a standing army, guarding the ancient Tarangire terrain. It's a strong, rolling landscape, one that has earned the love and respect of the bush-wise, once as a hunting ground, but now as a vital wildlife sanctuary in the Great Rift Valley ecosystem.

The small and intimate size means you are assured of your own private vehicle and experienced private guide, so fantastic daily adventures can be yours to decide. Tarangire offers phenomenal birding and game viewing with the park being well known for its large concentration of elephant. Also, migratory wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, impala, gazelle, hartebeest and eland make it the greatest concentration of wildlife outside the Serengeti eco-system.

All you have to do at the end of each dramatic day is arrive - tired, wired (in a nice way) and dusty, to piping hot showers, ice-filled gin and tonics, and a roaring campfire. Dreamy days end with dinner, stars, and wandering off to your softly beckoning bed tent, furnished with all, but nothing more than, you could wish for.
