Lukula Selous Camp

Lukula Selous is a pristine private photographic reserve of 300,000 acres deep in the southern reaches of the Selous Game Reserve, the largest game reserve in Africa. It is a place where wild Africa still rules, but there are no rules, and thats the beauty of it.

The Lukula Selous Camp safari experience is completely unique. This is where exploration takes on its real meaning - days spent exploring by foot, canoe and vehicle. Days are full - rising early after a good nights rest in our luxury, custom-designed tents, its off by 4x4 to find the tracks of the evenings action. The opportunity to approach wildlife on foot and by canoe is astounding. This is real Africa and its yours.

Each of the four large walk-in tents has open-air en-suite facilities with a flush toilet and 55-gallon bush shower. Water and lighting are supplied the traditional way - by delivery and by lantern. Lukula Selous keeps the spirit of the authentic safari and blends it with the amenities of the contemporary safari.
