Lewa Conservancy, Kenya

Mango Opinion

This is a lovely owner-operated camp on the incredible Lewa Conservancy. We love the fire place in the tents - very cool feature. Great game viewing, luxury accommodations, and personally hosted by the owners - what more can you ask for?

The tents are very comfortable in beautiful setting with waterhole very close, excellent guides. Food from garden..fresh and good.  This property also has a cottage and a house  - fabulous for exclusive use for a family or friends.

This lodge is located on the Lewa Conservancy which is THE pioneering conservancy from its cattle ranching history. Lewa has incredible game concentrations especially rhino and the unique Northern species. The fact that Lewa is fenced and highly managed does detract slightly from the wilderness feel, however the flip side to this is great wildlife sitings are almost guaranteed.

Sirikoi is a spectacular lodge situated on its own private section in the center of the Lewa Wildlife Conservancy on the northern slopes of Mount Kenya. Surrounded by an acacia grove and overlooking a natural waterhole fed from a mountain spring, Sirikoi offers some of the best wildlife viewing in East Africa.

Evening sun-downers with incredible views of distant mountain ranges, delicious meals served under the stars next to a roaring fire, and the sounds of animals in camp late at night are just a small part of this magical experience.  The main lodge is tastefully decorated with fascinating artifacts collected by the family over four generations in Kenya.  A beautifully designed infinity pool is the perfect spot to watch game and bird life.  Each of the four luxury spacious tents has views of the waterhole from the veranda, a living area with a fireplace, and an elegant bathroom with a Victorian bath and a shower.  There is also an exclusive house with three en-suite bedrooms and an exclusive cottage with two en-suite bedrooms.

Day and night game drives are on offer, along with bush walks, or a visit to one of the Lewa hides. A wide range of additional activities such as horseback riding, visits to a local Maasai homestead, hiking in the Ngare Ndare forest and helicopter trips are on offer at an additional cost.  Offering unparalleled hospitality in breathtaking surroundings, Sirikoi is one of the outstanding lodges in Kenya where guests will be part of a unique African adventure.
