Only a few minutes drive from Kilimanjaro International Airport, KIA Lodge is situated on a secluded hill in the heart of beautiful savannah scenery, midway between Moshi and Arusha towns in. The only airport hotel, KIA Lodge is ideally situated whatever your onward journey - be it climbing the worlds highest free standing mountain or starting a safari into some of Africas amazing and unique wildlife wildernesses.

KIA Lodge has 40 en-suite air conditioned rooms. Designed to compliment the setting, each cottage is built in traditional style using thatch and Tanzanian arts and crafts, such as Tinga tinga paintings and Makunde carvings, giving it a distinctly African feeling.

From the lodge you have a beautiful view on the majestic and spectacular Mt. Kilimanjaro which shows her snowy top mostly early in the morning and at sundown. You can also choose to relax at the swimming pool on top of small hill with views of Mt. Kilimanjaro, Mt. Meru, the Blue Mountains, and the Masaai plains. With our beautiful gardens we can honestly boast that we are not just an airport hotel, but also a true Lodge where you can immediately get a real taste of Africa!
