Kendwa Rocks
This is one of our go to budget options near the northern area of Nungwi on Zanzibar. The great swimming beach usually has sand volleyball for guests and reggae pumping out of the beach front restaurant. Be prepared to meet lots of backpackers and partying college students.

Mango's view
The road descends through Kendwa village towards one of the most fantastic beaches of East Africa, where Kendwa Rocks rests. Just opposite you can see the lighthouse of nearby Tumbatu Island and the lodge is near where you can view Dhow building, the traditional boat of Zanzibar. Sunbathing may be enough, but you can also snorkel, dive or fish and do small boat trips on the turquoise waters. Beautiful sunsets are everyday thrill and moonlighted nights on the white coral and seashell beach make an unforgettable experience.
The variety of sea life on the nearby coral reefs is immense, with regular sightings of dolphins, manta rays, turtles and reef sharks. On several occasions, large numbers of rare whale sharks have been sighted.
Each bungalow has large Zanzibari antique beds,
en-suite bathrooms and verandas to the open sea view. The bungalows are beautiful and cozy, bandas offer you a feel of originality, and the suites provide spacious luxury for two. All needs and budgets are taken into consideration. The staff is friendly and will help you make your stay enjoyable. The restaurant and bar area also provide spectacular views.
