Chamilandu Bushcamp

Chamilandu is a tiny and fabulous little camp. The elevated rooms, while not for people who are uncomfortable with stairs, are imaginative and an ideal setting to wake up in each morning.

As part of the Bushcamp series, this is a fun stop for walking enthusiasts. It is a healthy drive from Mfuwe so best booked for 3 nights or as part of a combination of camps in this vicinity. It is a good game area but not the best in Luangwa terms.

Chamilandus three exquisite tree-houses perch right on the edge of the Luangwa River. Two of the tree-houses have twin beds (queen-sized beds) and one has a double (king-sized bed). With capacity for just six guests, this is the perfect camp for small groups.

Chamilandu walking safaris are a constant mix of awe and information, excitement and inspiration. Catering for all safari tastes, the camp offers both morning and evening walks and a combination of day and night game drives. After a dawn walk, enjoy a hearty brunch then relax before a late afternoon game drive.
