He will transfer you to your hotel for overnight accommodations. Olive Grove is a stylish yet relaxed guesthouse for travelers with a day or two in Windhoek. You will transfer to the airport to meet your shared charter flight to the Namib Desert where your guide will be waiting for you on arrival. You stay at Wolwedan's Dune Lodge. Wolwedans, which takes its name from the African "where the wolves dance," is situated in the heart of NamibRand Nature Reserve, just south of Sossusvlei. Wolwedan's Dune Lodge — Includes: All meals, drinks (expert premium brands) & activities (except hot air ballooning) Days 4 & 5 Damaraland, NamibiaYou fly north via shared charter flight to Damaraland. Your guide will be waiting to transfer you to Desert Rhino Camp. Desert Rhino Camp nestles under centuries old camel thorn trees and has an unsurpassed 360 degree view over the desert landscape and surrounding mountains. The camp is run in conjunction with Save the Rhino Trust (SRT), an organization that has been has been singly responsible for helping to ensure that these rare, desert adapted black rhino have survived in this area. Accommodation consists of twenty luxury safari tents with double roofing, high standard en-suite bathrooms, twin beds and granite tiled floors. Tasteful interior decorating reflects the special hues of the Namibia Desert. Desert Rhino Camp — Includes: All meals, drinks (except premiums), laundry & safari activities Days 6 & 7 Hartmans Valley, NamibiaContinuing your safari, you take another shared charter flight to Hartman's Valley where your guide will be waiting to transfer you to Serra Cafema. Serra Cafema Camp is one of the most remote destinations in all of Africa, offering one of the most memorable experiences. Perched on the banks of the Kunene River, the camp shares this region with the wonderful and colorful Himba people, some of the last true nomadic people of Africa. Serra Cafema Camp — Includes: All meals, drinks (excpet premiums), laundry, & safari activities Day 8 DepartAfter a fun and exciting week, it's time to pack up all your gear to make ready for the journey home. You fly via shared charter flight back to Windhoek. On arrival, you will have a short layover before meeting your departure flight. |
