Day 1

Nairobi, Kenya

Welcome to Africa! Your flight arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in the evening. When you arrive, your driver will be waiting to transfer you to Macushla House.

Located in the Karen neighborhood, just 20 minutes from the heart of Nairobi. Macushla House in a short drive will take you to Kazuri Beads Workshop, Utamuduni Crafts for Conservation and Daphne Sheldrick's orphanage, home to numerous orphaned elephant and rhino, as well as the Karen Blixen Museum.

Days 2 — 6

Laikipia, Kenya

This morning after breakfast and checkout, your driver will collect you from your hotel and transfer you to Wilson Airport for your scheduled flight to Nanyuki. When you arrive, your Karisia guide will be waiting holding a sign with your names on it. You have a scenic two hour drive to the Tumaren area to start your walking safari. En route you many stop at a market along the way to pick up some wine or beers for your safari if you like.

You walk where no car will go, exploring new country every day with camels as your friendly beasts of burden. Days 7 & 8

Meru National Park, Kenya

This morning you will break camp and drive back to Nanyuki to meet your short charter flight to Meru National Park. When you land, your guide will be waiting to trnasfer you to Elsa's Kopje.

For many years Kenya's best kept secret, the untamed wilderness of Meru National Park is best explored from its hidden jewel - Elsa's Kopje.

Days 9 — 11

Masai Mara National Reserve, Kenya

This morning have trnasfer back to the airstrip to meet your scheduled flight to Masai Mara National Reserve. When you land, your guide will be waiting to transfer you to Kicheche Bush Camp.

Kicheche Bush Camp is a small, classic, intimate, luxury tented camp completely unfenced, accommodating a maximum of twelve guests. Located in the Masai Mara, Kicheche provides six en-suite tents fully furnished. Their is no main power however each tent has its own 24 hour solar lighting system.

Days 12 — 15

Lamu Island, Kenya

After a leisurely breakfast and check out procedures, your driver will collect you from your hotel late morning to transfer you back to Wilson Airport to meet your scheduled afternoon flight to Lamu Island. When you arrive, your Fatuma's Tower porter will be waiting to transfer you to your hotel via boat.

At Fatuma's Tower guests are invited into the home of Gillies and Fiammetta Turle, who want you to feel at ease and experience the peace and comfort of this tranquil space. More than a guest house they refer to it as their house for guests - a hidden corner of the world where you can find time for yourself

Day 16

Depart

After two glorious weeks in Kenya, it's time to pack up all your camera gear and curios to make ready for the journey back home. You will be transferred back to the airstrip to meet your scheduled flight back to Nairobi to meet your departure flight.
