Days 1 — 5

Cape Town, South Africa

Welcome to Africa! You will be met in arrivals by a Wilderness Representative who will hand over your travel documents. You will then take a road transfer from Cape Town International Airport to Welgelegen Guest House.

Welgelegen Guest House, its name meaning "well-located" in Dutch, is perfectly located at the heart of Cape Town's city bowl. The Guest House comprises two Victorian houses joined by a wonderful cobbled patio and granite plunge pool, enclosed by terraces of iceberg roses and fragrant star jasmine.

Days 6 & 7

Kalahari Desert, Botswana

Today after breakfast you return to the airport to meet your flight to Johannesburg. On arrival you will connect onwards to your next flight to Maun, Botswana. On arrival in Maun, you will be met by our partners and taken on a 2 hour road transfer to the Kalahari, where you will stay at Planet Baobab.

Arrive at the Planet Baobab in the Kalahari Desert, the baobab capital of the world! A traditionally styled mud Kalanga and Bushmen grass hut village shaded by giant baobab trees whose average age is 4,000 years old!

Days 8 — 10

Chobe National Park, Botswana

This morning after breakfast you will take a road transfer back to Maun Airport to meet your shared charter to Kasane. On arrival you will transfer to Muchenje Safari Lodge.

Owner run and managed, attention to detail is paramount with nothing being too much trouble at Muchenje Lodge. Enjoy exploring in this rich wildlife area. There are reputed to be over 35,000 elephant in Chobe National Park.

Days 11 — 13

Okavango Delta, Botswana

Today you take a shared charter from Muchenje to your next stop, Little Kwara Camp.

Little Kwara Camp is situated in a tree lined island on the edge of the permanent waters of the world renowned Okavango Delta in Botswana. The concession shares a common boundary with Moremi Game Reserve. This small intimate camp is a fantastic choice for those prolific wildlife viewing especially big cats.

Days 14 & 15

Livingstone, Zambia

After your final morning safari you will take a shared charter to Kasane and onto Livingstone. You will meet your driver in the arrivals area for your transfer to your hotel.

On the banks of the Upper Zambezi River, The Zambezi Sun is a great spot to explore the Victoria Falls area. Take a micro-lite flight, go whitewater rafting on the river, or go golfing where baboon and warthog have free run of the fairways.

Day 16

Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania

Today you transfer back to Livingstone International Airport to meet your scheduled flight to Johannesburg. On arrival you continue to to meet your onward flight to Dar es Salaam for your overnight at the Souk Hotel.

Day 17

Stone Town, Zanzibar, Tanzania

This morning after breakfast and a leisurely morning you return to the Airport for your scheduled flight to Zanzibar, where you transfer to your hotel.

The Zanzibar Serena Inn is a haven of tranquility and opulence among the bustle of Zanzibar. Faithfully restored and lavishly embellished, the Inn lets people explore this World Heritage Site.

The next morning, you will meet your tour guide after breakfast for a 1/2 day walking tour of the city which includes entrance to the House of Wonders and Slave Market.

Days 18 — 22

Zanzibar, Tanzania

It's beach time! This morning you will meet your driver after breakfast for you 1/2 road transfer to Pongwe Beach Hotel.

Situated on one of the most beautiful coastlines in the world, the Pongwe Beach Hotel is a true paradise retreat, set within a secluded bay on the east coast of Zanzibar; an island in the Indian Ocean just off the coast of Tanzania, Africa. We are a modestly sized hotel, with sixteen traditional beach-side cottages, and an intimate atmosphere.

Day 23

Stone Town, Zanzibar, Tanzania

Today its time to shake out the sand and head back to the Stone Town for your overnight at the Serena Inn. This afternoon you will have a guided walking tour of the historic sites.

Day 24

Depart

After almost a month of wonderful adventures, it's time to say goodbye. You transfer to the Zanzibar Airport to meet your scheduled flight to Dar Es Salaam. You will meet your driver in arrivals to transfer you to The Souk Hotel for a day use room for the afternoon. Here you can grab a quick shower and early dinner before returning to the airport to meet your international connection home.
